This book “Die Festgabe” [The Ceremony] was especially made on occasion of the 40. Birthday of the Reichsführer SS und Chef der Deutschen Polizei Heinrich Himmler, and was handed to him on the 5. Remembranceday of the German Polizei on 17th June 1941.
Overal in good condition, small signs of use/age. Rubust bound.
Extremely rare. Im aware of only one copy residing in the library/archives of the University of California, Berkeley; and one other copy in the Leibniz Institute for Contemporary History in Munich. Im not aware of any copies in privat collections!
