Description
(Book) Joseph Goebbels – Das Erwachende Berlin, Franz Eher Verlag Nachf. München, (1934), 184 pp. Full linnen bound.
On the first page inside is part of the original (and impossible to find!) dustjacket glued in. On the inside of the cover is an original WHW collecting paper glued in.
The book is in very good condition. 99 out of 100 on the collectorsmarkt have some kind of damage, either missing gold lettering on the front, bent bookplates, loose bookblocks or loose pages. This is always because of the used bad period paper and bindingmethods. The one we offer is in very good condition and is without any big damages. Sure, it is almost 90 years old and is not in newlike condition, but it is guaranteed much better as most you can find online.
As any book afficionado knows: quality is everything. There are cheaper editions on the market, but they all have some kind of damage.
This early book shows in photo’s the story of how the NSDAP got to power in its early days. It was published in 1934 and is still THE standard photographic work on the rising to power of the NSDAP in Berlin.
