Fra Kammeratskabsarbejdet inden for det Germanske SS-Panzerkorps Stiftelse [From tthe comradeship work within the German SS-Panzerkorps Foundation]
This book consists of stories by widows and/or mothers of fallen Danish/Germanic SS members who had died during the battles of the Wiking Division in the Tscherkassy pocket in 1944. These SS members were at first part of the SS-Standarte Nordland, that was a part of the 5th SS-Panzergrenadier-Division Wiking, which in turn was since april 1943 part of the III (Germanic) SS Panzer Corps. The III SS Panzer korps fought in the Tscherkassy pocket in early 1944.
This book is extremely rare. Online there is even only ONE mention of it’s existence in a Danish archive, no pictures of the actual book or it’s contents are known besides the ones we show here!
Of the utmost rarity!!!!
The condition is pretty good, the last pages have very little most damage, but i’d easily rate the book as good. Guaranteed you will never find another! Yes, it is THAT rare!

Ps: i added a digital image of Höhere SS- und Polizeiführer und Generalkommissar für das Sicherheitswesen Hans Albin Rauter (this image is not in the book but i found online), who handed out SS savings maps and the here for sale books (in dutch language to mothers and widows of in the Tscherkassy pocket fallen SS members, in the Netherlands). Im not aware of any existing similar danish awarding moments or photo’s, but for sure those must have happened in very small capacity as well, as is eveidenced of course by the book we offer for sale here.
