(Brooch) Housemark design
This is a brooch with housemark design, not to be confused with a rune design. Hoousemarks were heraldic family symbols. In medieval times when people could not write (particularly farmers), they had a simple family symbol, they could use for e.g official documents, or for heraldic wood or iron symbols on their farm. From the 1930’s onwards till the wars end this became somewhat popular again in nazi germany.
Hard to find and in good condition.
