Description
Cased Nationalsozialistisches Fliegerkorps (NSFK) Reichswettbewerb für Segelflugmodelle Wasserkuppe-Rhön plaque in gold #22 (1938).
This is the small variation plaque which measures approximately 6 cenytimeters wide, by 5 centimeters high.
Obvious in gold color (for participants) and numbered on the back “#22”.
The plaque comes in it’s orgiginal and typical NSFK black case, which has hidden in the secret compartment of the lid a small citationcard (Besitz-Urkunde). However, this is not the correct citation. While the plaque is a gold colored original plaque numbered “22”, the citation is obviously for a bronze plaque of the same kind (if im not mistaken bronze plaques were for supporting personal of the organisation involved in the flights), and is also different numbered with a number “#24” on the back. The citation is on name of a Kurt Nase. It might be possible he got both a bronze and gold plaque for participating and for aiding in the organisational work, and confused at some point the citations. Either way, in as found condition. I didn’t want to remove the ciation and they are obviously for the same event.
Very rare and the only gold colored small plaque for this flight im aware off.
In excellent condition.
