Description
This is an oddity: a female brown jacket in the style of the Bund Deutsche Mädel (BDM) Klettervesten. The design resembles the BDM jackets a lot, but there are quite a few differences. Inside is a Danish label, indicating it is a Danish jacket. Thi sis appers to be one of the many variations on a BDN jjacket, probably privat ordered in the north og Germany/Denmark.
In all honesty i have no clue if this is an actual Danish youthorganisation female jacket, or maybe even a (period?) civilian female jacket with added HJ/BDM buttons? It was simply found like this in an old collection. My bet guess is that is is a privat made BDM jacket. With perhaps later added buttons.
I offer it as it is for small price compared to what textbook BDM jackets bring these days. Im confident the possibe buyer who collects these will know what he (or she?) does. It might be a real bargain!
