Danish WW2 reissued M42 “Lokal Forsvars Region V” M40 helmet.
Stamped inside “Q62”, whichof course stands for Quist.
At the end of the war Denmark was divided in 5 resistence regions, at the last stages of the war these tried to cooperate and kick out the German army and collaboration danish troops. The here offered helmet is of origin a german WW2 helmet that was conquered and re-used by the Danish troops and got added the respective resistence region number V to its side, flanked by the abbreviation LF.R.
The shell is in very good condition, the liner is damaged. Priced accordingly.
