Description
This is a vintage (Denmark) Carlsberg Beer wall or pub shield with swastika’s. It dates back to the 1920’s/1930’s.
The size is approximately 44 x 29.5 centimeters.
In good condition, only minor typical planing signs of age. It’s a great piece with a lot of character.
The swastika’s on the bottles labels in the centre were used as a symbol of peace in the pre-war period. After the war it was however for obvious reasons removed from the Carlsberg products. It makes it nowadays for a rare original collectable. Carlsberg is mostly known for it’s world famous beer.
Very rare to find original shield and only the first i could ever offer.
A great item for in a mancave/collectingroom or diorama!
