Description
(Denmark) Full crate of Carlsberg pre-WWII swastika beerbottles.
This is a full crate with 25 Carlsberg beer bottles from before (in use untill 1945), with swastika bottle caps.
All bottles come with the typical porcelain swastika bottle caps and swastika in the glass design on the bottom. These bottles were in use already a few decades before World War Two, but also during the war. The swastika was simply the (good luck charm) logo of the beercompany. After 1945 they changed the logo for obvious reasons.
The full crate of the period company of A/S P. C. Nielsen, was found in Denmark in the town of Vejle where we got it directly from the finder. It has as far as i know never been in collecorshands before. The crate and bottles have NOT BEEN CLEANED. There is 80 years of dust and cobwebs on the bottles. It would be very esy to wash them clean, but it also looks great in as-found-condition. It is up to the next owner to clean them or not. Inside the crate are two types of bottles, a few have paper lables, most do not. One bottle cap does not close anymore.
This full crate with it’s cheerfull light blue color makes for an amazing mancave or collectingroom item. It is a guaranteed converstationpiece!
The price is for the full crate including the 25 bottles.
Please mind we can not ship this due to weight and the breakability of the many bottles. Pickup after appointment at most European fairs like the Houten Show, Ciney, etc is possible. Pickup in the Netherlands as well.
In good condition and very rare!!!
