Description
(Denmark) SS/SD signed Ostmedaille / Winterschlacht im Osten citation + medaille MM “88” (Werner Redo).
This set was recently found in Denmark and comes from a privat household. It is signed and stamped “Der Kommandeur “….” and stamped with SS-Hauptsturmführer. On the lower left it is SD stamped (Sicherheitspolizei).
The citation nnamed to Unteroffizier Fritz Sauer, born 8.7.1905
The medal itself is in the ringmaker marked with “88”, which stands for medalmaker Werner Redo from Saarlautern. The medal on the front in very good condition, on the back is some light corrosion.
As a set very rare. Unresearched.
Finding a SS and/or SD signed Denmark set is very very rare!
