Deutsches Kreuz in Gold (DKIG) “Heavy” by maker “20” (Zimmermann).
This is an original and early Deutsches Kreuz in Gold (DKIG), so called “Heavy” DKIG by maker Carl Friedrich Zimmermann from Pforzheim. Very hard to find in this as good as unworn condition, with the “mirror” in such good condition. Early heavy crosses are (obviously) almost always heavy worn. This one offered here is not.
The cross is under the pin maker marked with “20”, which of course stands for maker C.F. Zimmermann. The cross is in very good only light worn condition, with only a few to the naked eye as good as invisable minor scratches (only noticable when taking photo’s). Simply a textbook cross in great condition!!!!
This is a great displaypiece that would make a guaranteed centrepiece in any museum- of collectorscabinet!
The early piees are getting harder nd harder to find and most are resting in (old) collections, in thi here offered condition very very rarely offered on the collectorsmarket!
