This is a Dutch/German WWII female cultural rune brooch with Gebo-rune.
The Gebo rune is the seventh rune of the old Futhark. The sound is “G”. The rune is symbolic for”giving”, a gift or a present but also for “a gift” (a talent).
This is a fairly large brooch, measuring approximately 5,5 centimeters.
It is typically very crude made with a very sloppy soldered typical attachmentplate on the back, that one would expect to be a sewn on device on a ribbon. However, Dutch wartime made germanic orientated brooches are known to have this caracteristically crude attached (soldered) on pinplate on the back, thus giving it more credibility to be a dutch made wartime rune brooch.
Very very rare to find!!! And much rarer than german made rune brooches.
