Description
This is a Dutch volunteer recruitmentposter, for recruiting men (mainly with a pro-German and thus dutch collaboration or NSB nackground) to join the Kriegsmarine:
Het Zeegat uit! Neerlands roem Herleeft! Meldt u bij de Kriegsmarine! [Out of the Sea-entrance! Dutch fame Revives! Report to the Kriegsmarine!]
With the very rare KM volunteer shield pictured on the sleeve. This is the only wartime “publication” that shows this shield.
The size is 80 x 55 centimeters.
With K-number 2347
This is one of the very rarest of all wartime posters and only the first time i can offer it for sale. Missing from most, if not all collections. Im aware of only a few in existence.
The condition is good for its age, it has been folded, minor discoloring ont he left upper and lower edges, invisible when framed. Overall i’d rate it very good. This would easily be the a centrepiece in a dutch collaborationcollection and would look amazing when framed on a collectionromo wall or in a museum.
EXTREMELY RARE TO FIND ORIGINAL POSTER!
