Description
This is an original Dutch SS – “Werkdienst Nederland” armbadge.
These were for the SS “Werkdienst Nederland” (workforce Holland) that was mainly used for bunkerbuilding.
Only a very few originals are known in advanced collections.
Added a picture from my friend Coco which he posted 20 years ago (!) on the Wehrmacht Awards forum. To my knowledge only two pictures exist with these rare badges being worn. As can be seen they were simply attached OVER the SS sleeve eagles.
It does not get much rarer than this.
