Description
Ehrenpokal / Honor goblet grouping of Obergefreiten Rudolf Pauli.
Marked on the underside “Feinsilber/Alpaka Auflage Joh. Wagner & Sohn”.
Pauli was a Stuka pilot and flew with 8/KG3.
A beautiful Pokal/goblet with lovely light patination.
With the Pokal comes also Pauli’s Flugzeugführer abzeichen (Maker C.E. Juncker Berlin SW), being a rare and desirable early so called “J1” variation. It has a beautiful period repaired catch with special catchplate. It is in excelent condition.
Both the Pokal and FLugzeugführer badge come with their respective citations. The Flugzeugführer citation is ink signed by Generalleutenant Gustav Kastner Kirdorf.
There are also two photo’s of Pauli, one which shows part of the actual Flugzeugführer badge in wear. One photo is stamped on the back with the name of a dutch photostudio: “Foto Schreuder Hoofdstraat. 2 Apeldoorn”.

This is an amazing group of together belonging items. All are in good condition. Groupings like this are very rare and hard to find on todays collectorsmarket.
