German anti-American propaganda leaflet (Fluggblatt propaganda):
It was a nice evening with drinks, kisses – and then the gorgeous night, isn’t this…
The front design shows the American wife of soldier Joe Jones, who is still fighting at the front in Western Europe. She is naked and thinking of the night she just had while Joe is still away. The idea was to undermine American moral, to get American soldiers thinking they made th wrong choice and should be back at home. This didn’t miss it’s aim, these pamphlets were very confronting German propaganda, that had a lot of effect on the American soldiers who got these in hand.
This is a leaflet that was spread by the Germans among American soldiers fighting against the Germans. These leaflets were dropped with bombs or shot against enemy lines by special designed leaflet mortars with hollow body to house the leaflets. The idea was to undermine american moral by aiming at the lonely and homesick feeling of the soldiers at the front.
These coloured and soft erotic leaflets are extremely rare, the here for sale leaflet (flugblattpropaganda) is one of the rarest that exists, it is only a bit damaged at the edges, just like they all are, but actually it is in as good condition as possible. Remember, these were dropped together with bombs from airplanes and most leaflets either didn’t survive this or were simply thrown away. This one here survived and tells an amazing part of history! EXTREMELY RARE!!!!
