Description
This is a metallic German WWI patriotic cigarette box: “Aus Eiserner Zeit 1914-1916”. Including the rare original key that is often missing. The lock does however not wok anymore.
These came in two models, this being the small model, it measures approximately 25 x 15 x 9 cm. While no specific purpose was announced these were often (mostly) used a tableboxes to house cigarette’s.
Due to it’s size very impressive.
The condition is used, there is some light corrosion, particularly on the underside. Still a quite hard to find display item, that would look great in any World War I collection.
