German WWII Bilderkasten paper SS photo Vereidigung der Niederländischen Freiwilligenlegion [oath swaering of Dutch Volunteer Legion members]
“Im Binnenhof im Haag fand die Feierliche Vereidigung der Ambulanz der niederländischen Freiwilligen-Legion vor Abfahrt zxur Ostfront statt” [The ceremonial swearing in of the ambulance of the Dutch Volunteer Legion before departure for the Eastern Front took place in the Binnenhof in the Hague].

Approximately 24 x 19 centimeters.

These were intended to be hung in the “Bilderkasten” (glas display cases) for propaganda purposes.
As a collector of dutch volunteer items i was not aware of this exact image and the existence of this paper Bilderkast photo till found it recently. There are quite a few images known of the oath swearing of Dutch volunteers, but this image is to my knowledge unknown.
Extremely rare item!!!!!!
