Hitlerjugend – Deutsches Jugendfest 1937 “overprint” abzeichen in silver colour (HJ badge)
In very good condition!
This badge exists in 6 different versions (see the website for the others versions) and two variations (one with closed space between the wings, and one with open space). This is the one with “overprint 1937” zilver variation with space between the wings and paws.
An interesting fact is that for 1937 there was a shortage in silver badges and it was decideced to use overstock brown badges from 1936, press a “7” over the “6” of 1936 and paint the front silver. These overprint badges are a bit harder to find.
