Description
This is a transitional model 1933 HJ-Fahrtenmesser by maker RZM M7/5 Carl Julius Krebs, Solingen. The dagger comes complete with the original paper issue tag by Krebs (Papieretikett).
It is unused and only shows some typical minor age and handling spots. It’s easily the best HJ dagger i’ve ever had. In this condition in current times near impossible to find anymore.
The scabbard is with absolutely very nice original black paint, the black riveted leather hanger is in good condition as well. The dagger itself has shiny nickle plated details, black plastic grips and an enameld Hj emblem. All in good to excellent condition. The blade is very good and only shows very minor use from putting it in and out the scabbard, its easily to be called good to very good. It also bears the HJ motto “Blut und Ehre!”. Due to the nickle plated silver details very hard to get on photo, i tried playing with the light and made particularly for the blade some darker and shadowy pictures, in hand it is more than good!
HJ daggers in this quality are extremey rare to find these days and only very seldom anymore come for sale!
Edit: the dagger comes in a protective cloth “case” with zipper.
