Description
This is an Imperial German Preußen Flugzeugführerabzeichen in so called buntmetal. With lots of silver color still remaining, especially on the back.
It is an actual issued badge from the period of appriximately 1917/1918. Only the original hollow badges were issued. All “variations” on the collectorsmarket are privat purchased ones. The hollow one we offer here is thus an originial issued one.
The badge is not maker marked but can with certainty be attributed to maker C. E. Juncker from Berlin.
In very good condition and with a lot of character, in my opinion one of the best designs ever.
A rare original badge of over 100 years old!
