Description
This is an Iron Cross first Class (EK1) in rare green case and complete with outer carton by maker Klein & Quenzer A-G from Oberstein.
The whole set is in stone mint condition, the outer carton is complete with both flaps and impossible to upgrade.
Very rare to find like this, the green K&Q cases are rare already, but the outer carton in good condition is even rarer! Finding both in this condition with the original cross is just any Ek collectors dream!
The EK1 cross is nicely maker marked “65” on the back of the needle which of course stands for maker Klein & Quenzer.
This set has been with the family since the war and was stored really well, never been on the market before and it is a one time chance to obtain, this is only the first time we found such a pristine complete set. Unless you have a timemachine and get one yourself from the war, this is pobably your only chance to add it to your collection!
