This is a large size Italian wcollaboration badge: “Convegno Nazionale Bande Cori Fisarmoniche Danzatori Popolari – Roma Pza. di Sienna – Maggio XVI” [National Convention of Bands, Choirs, Accordions, and Folk Dancers – Rome, Piazza di Sienna] badge (1938).
In good condition.
On the back fouble maker marked on both the planchet and the pinplate.
This large-scale event was organised during (and specifically for) the state-visit of Adolf Hitler to Italy and took place on 6 May 1938 (and lasted actually 6 days). It was organised by the “PNF” [Partito Nazionale Fascista -> National Fascist Party]) and “OND” [Opera Nazionale Dopolavoro -> National Recreational Club, being the Italian Fascist leisure and recreational organization for adults].
