Kriegsverdienstkreuz Erste Klasse ohne Schwerter (KVK1) + etui/ War Merit cross without swords first class.
It is on the pin marked with “15”, which indicates it is made by medalmaker Friedrich Orth.
The cross and case are in “Stone Mint” condition and as a set this is one of the best War Merit Crosses i’ve ever had. If only you ever need one, then this is it.
Very hard to find in this good condition, and in my opinion as good as impossible to upgrade.
