Description
This is a large Flak commemorative plaque. There is a small dedication on the lower side that reads: “Gewidmet v.d. Gefolgschaft Weihnachten 1939”.
It measures approximately 38 x 31 centimeters (including frame) , which is quite large for a plaque like this.
The scenery shows a manned German Flak canon (German Flugabwehrkanone (Flak), for “aircraft defence cannon”). Ont he right upper corner are two English planes visible. Ont he lower left side several German factories that are obviously being protected by the defence cannon.
Very hard to find and only the first in this form and shape i’ve ever found.
