Description
This is a miniature Luftwaffe double decal Ferntrauungshelm Weddinghelmet. These were used when the soldier was a t the front and his future wife was at home. IN his absence a small helmet was during the wedding ceremony placed near the woman and she married him (the helmet).
Most “Ferntrauungs” (far away marriage) helmets were for the Wehrmacht (heer), with the Luftwaffe miniature helmets being much rarer.
In good overall condition, light used.
