Description
This is a very rare Mutterkreuz brosche im Silber / Motherscross brooch in silver.
All brooches are rare to find, but particularly the “double bar” variations are very hard to find. Brooches in silver are also harder to find as bronze or gold ones: bronze was relative reasy to get, and most mothers who had 4/5 children would also get 8 or more and get the gold cross. Making the middle class silver the hardest.
The brooch is in used condition. The cross and centre was not enameled very well, it is however in very nice original condition.
