Extremely rare ORIGINAL period photo’s from the funeral of WA Man Peter Ton.
Including a large 23 x 18 cm portrait, two pictures with blood on the pavement from where he was attacked (both approximately 18 x 13 cm), one period photo of his grave (18 x 13 cm), one photo of funeral flowers (18x 13 cm), one photo of Mussert and Van Geelkerken next to the dug grave site (18x 13 cm), and one picture of the transport of the body to the graveyard (18x 13 cm). In total there are 7 original photo’s from before 1945!!!!
An original cut-out obituary from period NSB “Volk en Vaderland” newspaper is present as well.
Also included in this sale are 6 modern copy photo’s of the funeral.
As a total this is a unique photo collection consisting of many rare original fairly large sized photo’s of Peter Ton and his funeral. This is unique material, and not all photo’s are published or known!
