Description
NSB – V-Actie badge.
In stickpinform.
The NSB V-Action was a contra-resistance action during World War II in which Dutch people en masse scrawled the letter “V” (for “Victory”) on walls and facades, as encouraged by the BBC, to encourage the population against the occupying forces. The NSB, the collaborationist party, responded with its own “V” propaganda, stating that the “V” stood for “Victory” because Germany won, leading to a propaganda war in the streets. These small V-badges were worn by NSB supporters.
These small badges have become quite rare, this is only the first i encountered in a few years time.
