Description
This is a NSKK Wahlhilfsdienst 10. April 1938 armband for the Reichstag elections in 1938 [An Elections Supportive Service armband] with seperate affixed large grey plastic disc. On it’s back maker marked with the wellknown name of maker Richard Sieper & Sohne.
The armband itself in the colors black white and red.
In good condition and like this very rare and hard to find.
I’ve in the past seen these NSKK mdisc being wrongfully described as car grill plaques (Which doesn’t make sense as the plastic would melt), or even as doorplaques. Their purpose is obviously as their name suggests: to aid durng elections and in particular here by the NSKK. These armabands would be worn by personel to be easy recognisable for people who needed help.
