Description
Olympia 1936 / K.D.F. Armband with City weapons.
With 13 small attachments, one with the German war flag, the others with city- and country weapons (Paris, Belgien, Holland, Norwegen, Danmark, Polen, Danzig, Memel, Prag, Eger, Wien, Saar).
These armabnds are usually known to be from the K.D.F. (Kraft durch Freude) ships, were they were sold as souvenir armbans. But collectors consensus also speaks of how these were sold as souvenirs during the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin. Looking at the international city’s it seems most likely this is indeed an Olympic souvenir armband.
In good condition and not so easy to find!
