Description
This is a Ostmedaille / Winterschlacht im Osten medaille miniature stickpin.
It appears to be made of buntmetal and is in excellent condition. On the back it is maker marked with MM “65” which stands for medalmaker Klein & Quenzer.
The diameter is the largest and most rare (and disirable) size miniature to find, which is approximately 16 millimeter.
ULTRA RARE to find like this. All Ostmedal miniatures are rare to find and I’ve had a few over the past decades, but this is the very first in this excellent basemetal and condition and maker marked on the back. This could be the centrepiece of any Ostmedaille collection and it simply doesn’t get any better regarding miniature Ostmedaille stickpins!
Expensive? Yes! But try finding another…
