This is an original period World War I oilpainting on canvas, of a German soldier pf Infanterie Regiment 17 (IR17).
With Iron Cross second class ribbon on the second buttonhole and shoulderboards with “17” insignia.
The size is approximately 25,5 x 18 centimeters. Canvas on wood.
Signed R. Kühnel and dated February 1918,
In good condition and very rare to find.
Due to it’s size ideal for in a glasscabinet or collectionroom. Looks even better when added to an old frame.
