Description
(Photo) SS Oberscharführer and knightscross recipient Georg Karck (fell in Normandy on 4 July 1944)
(18 x 13 centimeters).
Karck was part of II Kompanie SS Panzergenadier Regiment 2 LSSAH. The photo is an early one. When Karck died in Normandy he held already the rank of Hauptstürmführer.
The size is approximately 18 x 13 centimeters.
The photo came in a lot of all unpubished LSSAH photo’s, so it might be a LSAH RK-Träger. Marked on the back: SS-Kriegsberichter Markert.
In excellent condition.
(For obvious reasons purposely scanned on low resolution, it’s much sharper in hand).
