Description
Waffen-SS single decal M40 helmet.
Marked Q64 (hard to read) indicating production by the Quist firm. This firm is known to have produced the M40 model untill late 1944, while other companies all adopted the M42 model. The lotnumber is DN470.
Textbook runic Pocher decal for the most part present. The helmet is in used condition but has a great look to it. The liner and chinstrap are present too. The chinstrap a bit brittle and has been greased. Some grease remains still present, especially on the inside towards the liner, these show a yellow spots and can easily be cleaned off, but i left it as i got it.
A very nice M40 SS helmet.
