Description
This is a newspaper/magaine printing plate/cliche, of Ritterkreuzträger SS-Rottenführer Gerardus Mooyman of the 14./SS-Freiwilligen-Legion “Nederland”, with original envelope.
The envelope has on the front a printed image (with the plate!) of Gerard Mooyman with his Knights cross.
The envelope is in very good condition. The printplate is in good condition too, but someone “colored” the image with a black marker. As far as i can see the plate itself is undamaged.
The size of the plate is approximately 7 x 4,5 centimeters.
Extremely rare to find. Anything regarding Mooyman is rare, even here in the Netherlands, but this is only the very first time i’ve encountered an original wartime printing plate!
