Description
This is a silver plated box for the “Kreis” area shooting competition of the Gebirgs Pionier Battailon 54. It is engraved on the side with: “Offiziers Preisschiessen 1938 des Gebirgs Pionier Battailon 54 Ehenpreis des Kommandeurs” [Officers shooting competition of the Gebirgs Pionier Battailon 54, Honor Prize of the Commander].
Hallmarked “120” and “835” with silvermarks on the underside. Inside made of wood and the bottom of black imitation leather.
The size is approximately 13,5 x 8,5 x 4,5 centimeters.
Some patina and wear, overal in good condition.
Very rare and great for display in a collectors cabinet.
