Description
This is a Soldbuch group from Gefreite, walter Eckstein from 5./Gren. Rgt. 348
The group consists of his soldbuch with written in awards 9Ostmedaille, Verwundetenabzeichen Schwarz and Eisernes Kreuz Zweite Klasse). The citations to his EK2 and VWA black are included.
Further there is a large framed portrait of Eckstein, and over 50 original photo’s.
Also presents are two folded maps, a rare cardboard “Gesundheitshelfer” presentation board from teh Deutsches Roters Kreuz (DRK), and his Iron Cross.
A very nice group that should be researched further.
