Spain – Order of Military Merit, I Class Cross with White Distinction (Orden del Mérito Militar, Cruz del 1ª Clase con Distintivo Blanco), 1938-1975 issue (Franco period).
The Order was created by Queen Isabel II in 1864 to be awarded for military merit. The cross is of white enamel in times of peace, and of red in times of war.
The condition is ok, but there are two small chicps, on in ht elower white arm, one in the centre on the left in the red field. I deem to have priced it very well accordingly!
