Spain – Sash with Order of Military Merit, I Class Cross with White Distinction (Orden del Mérito Militar, Cruz del 1ª Clase con Distintivo Blanco), 1938-1975 issue (Franco period).
The Order was created by Queen Isabel II in 1864 to be awarded for military merit. The cross is of white enamel in times of peace, and of red in times of war.
The condition is ok, but the white sash is a bit dirty, this is only dust and can be washed off easily. The cross and enamel are undamaged.
Despite being a more modern production it still looks amazing! A very nice item for a relative small price.
