Description
This is an SS arm-insignia for an officer of the SD-Reichs Sicherheitsdienst. A black cloth diamond with machine embroidered wool silver-grey letters “SD”. This was a lower rank insigina at first but was then with promotion upgraded with silver “paspellierung” (piping as an edge embellishment). Ont he back is still the paper RZM tag from Hersteller (maker A4 / 20). It is numbered 144276/
In worn condition and extremely rare to find.
