SS-Leibstandarte (LSSAH) grouping to SS-Panzergrenadier Alois Ebn 2./Pz.Rgt.Leibst.SS “Adolf Hitler”.
This is a very interesting small grouping to SS-Panzergrenadier Alois Ebn.
The grouping consists of:
- Two postcard sized photo’s of Ebn in SS uniform
- A citation for recieving the black Woundbadge
- The Wehrpass of Ebn
- A letter/document to his father, stating the Wehrpass has been sent as a commemorative item
- An obituary with photo
- An obituary leaflet with photo
Alois Ebn, born 21 September 1925. Joined the Waffen-SS to do his military service on 28 january 1943 and got into the 7./SS-Pz.Gren. Ers. Btl. LSSAH.
Sworn in on 9 March 1943.
Got awared the Panzerkampfabzeichen in bronze on 27 december 1943 as part of SS-Pionier Ausb. u. Ers. Btl.1
Saw action in Italy, Ostfront, Russia.
He was severely injued on 26 january 1944 (shrapnel left leg) and repatriated to Germany, where he died on 26 june 1944 in Reserve Lazaret Landshut in Bavaria due to his wounds.
This is a very rare LSSAH grouping. Actually ANY LSSAH grouping are rare to find!
