Description
This is a private photoalbum of a member of SS-Totenkopfverband SS-Oberbayern.
The size is approximately 33 x 23 centimeters.
There are approximately 202 photo’s inside, almost all are interesting and military/SS related, showing uniforms, skulls, SS insignia (runes), armbands, sportshirt insignia (first and second type both clearly shown), Reichsparteitag, Junkerkaserne, machineguns, vehicles, artillery, handgrenade’s, 9 November Marsch, Standartenflags, helmets, etcetera. There is too much to name it all. I tried to show as many close up photo’s as possible to show the content. As a whole this is very hard to find SS timecapsule. Most abums always contain a plethora of unrelated photo’s, this album however when browsing through it keeps showing interesting photo’s till the end. In the back is a deathcard for a SS-Oberscharführer Friedrich Beck, and a drawn map of the Ostfront.
The condition is excellent for such an album. The frontcover with silver runes and text is showing the same good quality as is the whole album.
Extremely rare to find like this. I’ve had a few albums over the years, but this is easily the best one. With an average of only a little over 20 euro per photo i deem to have priced it very well too. Most of these albums are as collectors are unfortunatly aware almost always broken up for more profit and the photo’s sold for much more seperately, but at Dutchmilitaria we are strongly against that practive and try to keep albums together as they are found to preserve history.
VERY RARE TO FIND ORIGINAL SS PHOTOALBUM!
