Description
This is a SS-Polizei Major’s four pocket tunic, made of typical gabardine wool.
With brown collar and cuffs. The tunic comes with the silver collored shoulder cord and has loopholes for several interesting medals. Most likely a large medalbar, EK1, EK2, DRL sportsbadge, Woundbadge. We got the tunic with an assortment of medals but these did not originally belong to the tunic, so took them off.
The jacket has a tailorslabel of W. Michovius from Cottburg.
There is a nametag on the inside pocket (see detailed picture), of “POlizei Oberinspektor”. The shoulderboards on the tunic are those of a Major and appear to be upgrades.
The tunic is complete with the silver aluminum collar patch insignia, and entwined silver-aluminium epaulettes.
Comple with the SS Runes insignia beneath the left pocket and armpatch.
The condition of this SS-Polizei tunic is REALLY good! There is no damage, no mothholes, and it would be near impossible to upgrade! It would make an amazing display on a mannequin!
