The diameter is 25 centimeters.
In excellent condition, no damages, mint.
Withe glaze porcelain. Ont he front is a piece of Hebbel “Die Weihe der Nacht” [the consecration of the night]:
“Und von allen Sternen niederströmt ein wunderbarer Segen, daß die müden Kräfte wiedersich in neuer Frische regen, und aus seinen Finsternissentritt der Herr, soweit er kann, und die Fäden, die zerrissen, knüpft er alle wieder an” [And a wonderful blessing streams down from all the stars, so that the tired forces revive again with new freshness, and out of his darkness the Lord, as far as he can, and the threads that were torn, he ties them all back together again].
On the back is written: “1944. Ihnen und Ihre Sippe wünsche ich ein Gesegnetes Julfest und ein gutes Neues Jahr” [I wish you and your clan a blessed Yule and a happy New Year]. With signature of SS-Obergruppenführer u. General der Waffen-SS Oswald Pohl.
