Description
This is the SS-Soldbuch of Orpo Hauptwachtmeister Rudolf Franz Langer, II. Gendarmerie Batl.
Langer was born on 3 December 1907.
Stamped Der Kommandeur der Gendearmerie bei dem Landeskommissär Karlsruhe.
With passphoto in Gendarmerie uniform and showing a miniature ribbonbar on his chest.
The soldbuch was opened on 30 December 1933.
Langer earned the following medals:
- KVK II. Klasse (War Merit cross second class)
- Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1.10.1938 (Sudetenland annexationmedal)
- Polizei Dienstauszeichnung III. Klasse (Police long service medal third class)
- Polizei Ehrenwinkel für “Alte Kämpfer” (Police chevron for old comrades, this was a rare award!)
All late war soldbuchs in this light brownish style were given to policemen.
