This is a very rare SS-Totenkopfverbände set!
It consists of the SS Totenkopfverbände Dienstausweis + SS-Aufnahme und Verpflichtungsschein + photo’s.
- The SS-Totenkopf Verbände ID nr 2008
- SS-application and contract -> Complete application for the SS-TV with the forms filled in. The documents are in good condition and have holes on the side. There are 5 pictures of Willi Wagner presented together on the documents and the SS Dienstausweis: 4 Smaller ID size portraits and one larger portrait with the SS-TV uniform. On the pictures are clearly visible the SS Tk 22 color tab and also Brandenburg cuff title in wear.
SS TK member Willi Wagner was born 1919 in Mihla Thüringen (in the middle of Germany) and joined the Hitlerjugend (HJ) in 1933 where he remained untill 1936. He then joined the SS-TV on 1.4.1938. The forms were filled in on 24.11.1938 in Oranienburg/Berlin, where he was living at the SS-TK barracks. Willi Wagner was with the 2.SS Totenkopfstandarte ,,Brandenburg” Oranienburg/Berlin when the ID was handed out to him. In the document Wagner gives a small summary of his life and political activities from 1919 untill the moment he joined the SS-TK. By signing the ”Verpflichtung” part of the document he agreed to work to the best of his abilities for ”Die Idee Hitlers” (being the National Socialist ideas of Adolf Hitler), the party, SS and government. It also states that he declared to be of German decent and was not part of any secret groups or Freemasons and also never was in the past.
The last page holds some information about his ancestors.
It is extremely rare to find the SS-application form together with the matching ID. This is a highly interesting SS-TK Brandenburg set that has not been researched further yet!
