Description
This is a very nice Wehrmacht Hauptmann der Infanterie Feldbluse. It is in very good condition with only minimal age damage.
One button was period resewn, a very few minor mothholes (none in visible places on the front) and there is one shoulderboard that has a spot. It’s simply in very good condition for it’s age and looks amazing!
Fresh of color, no dirt, nothing messed with like so often.
On the chest is a silver bullion officers breasteagle in good condition and on the right sleeve a bevo Jäger patch. The shoulderboards are with white infantry pipping and show two stars, which together with the collartabs show the tunic was for the rank of Hauptmann (captain) der Infanterie.
With many medalloops. On top of the left chestpocket are loops for a Nahkampfspange, on the pocket itself for an Iron Cross first Class, Infanterie Sturmabzeichen and a woundbadge. The tunic was obviously for a well decorated Hauptmann that saw action dring the war and was awared many medals! There is also typically an Iron Cross Second Class ribbon through the second of the five buttonholes.
