Wehrmacht (Heer) Leutnant field tunic with Afrikakorps cufftitle and Krimshield.
The tunic was originally green but has faded into a beautifull leight brownish/beige color with amazing patination.
The rank of the shoulderboards is that of Leutnant, they come with special unit markings. The tunic has an original hand applied Afrikakorps cufftitle on the right sleeve. On the shoulder of the left sleeve is attached a Krimshield. It is attached on a seperate “bed” made of the same cloth as the tunic. This looks really great.
On the left chestpocket are a few medalloops. Above the pocket is a ribbonbar with four World War I medals.
Overall the tunic is in nice mannequin size. There is a small field repair on the right sleeve just above the cufftitle. Complete with all buttons.
Please note my camera and lightstandards had a hard time with the colors, in some photos this gives some photo’s a “pale” shading, in had the color is just great and just as collectors love it. Simply a great tunic!
