Description
This is an original Wolfgang Willrich portrait of Hilmar Wäckerle. This is one of the very few existing originals from the “Vom Lebensbaum deutscher Art – Bilder und Gedanken zur Rassenfrage” map. The map is impossible to find in original condition and only copies are for sale online and have been for years. Finding an original from one of those maps is near impossible. This is also the best Willrich SS portrait from the map. It shows Hilmar Wäckerle, who was an early SS official and the first commandant of Dachau concentration camp.
The portrait has been professionally framed and measures including frame approximately 62 x 50 centimeters.
Extremely hard to find original!
